One of the highlights of this year's Dark Shadows Weekend was the staged reading of The House, on Sunday. Left to Right: Denise Nickerson, Jim Pierson, and Marie Wallace.

Writer Art Wallace drew on his 1957 script for The House as one of his inspirations as he developed the "bible" for Dark Shadows in 1966.

Marie's character, Caroline, is a piano teacher; Denise played one of her students.
